Twin's 16th Birthday!

So on this day 16 years ago, someone was born. :D She is a very important person to me. She's a great friend and a twin. I can say that she is one of the few people that helped me become who I am today.

She's crazy but awesome. She nice, kind and helps me a lot. She could write a whole essay about Harry Potter/ House of Night...hmmm....make that a short book. She's nuts when she's high. I can say we would be even in a screaming competition. XD She likes to do random stuff, and blurt out random things. And she talks to herself even if I am on the phone with her. :P

Chinese New Year Open House!

Hey Guys!!!! Today, my family and I hosted an CNY Open House! Who else do I invite but the awesome coaches!!!!! So I woke up at like 8.30 A.M to help my parents prepare things. I bet most of you were still snoring in bed. :P

Shaan and Sofie arrived 1st, then Carmen and Kah Yan, and slowly, everyone else started to come. :) What to do when the food is done and everyone is here?

And slowly people started to go home. I wished them goodbye and went to play Chor Tai Di with my brother's friends. I lost RM20+ in 3 rounds. :( Heartache.....

and then I won it back!!!! Yay!! :P

Cleaned up and went to bath. Now I am blogging this. 2 of my brother's friends are still here though. :P So I shall join them in a round of backjack. Ciaos.

It's a little late but Happy Chinese New Year! So how did you spend your new year? For me spent the first day of CNY at my aunt's house. Gambling. :P

The Hunger Games

I have absolutely no idea what to blog about these days. I mean, I want to update but I can't think of anything to write on. So I'll just post a little something about a book I've recently read.

To be honest. At first I though it would be like Battle Royale. And it somewhat is, but different in it's own ways.

Here is small summary of how hunger games is. (from wikipedia)

The Hunger Games is an annual even in the city of Panem. As punishment for a previous rebellion against the Capitol, every year one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected at random and forced to participate in the Hunger Games, a televised event where the participants, or "tributes", must fight to the death in a dangerous outdoor arena until only one remains. The story follows fatherless 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th Games in place of her younger sister, Primrose. Also participating from District 12 is Peeta Mellark, a boy whom Katniss knows from school and who once saved Katniss's life by giving her bread when her family was starving.

The story is interesting because you always anticipate what happens next. Like which tribute will be the next to die. And how? The violence is one of the things I like as well. Like being stung by venomous bees or having mutated dogs chew you up or even a spear through the stomach. It's kind of disgusting but also entertaining.

What else to spark the darkness portrayed in the book but a little romance. In the games Peeta and Katniss pretended to be "start-crossed lovers" in hope of gaining favor of the audience and getting sponcers. While Peeta might not be pretending, but Katniss was....or wasn't she. That's what confuses me sometimes. Weather she likes Peeta or Gale, her hunting partner in district 12.

When reading the book the characters grow on you. And sometimes you don't want them to die, but they have to....eventually. For example Rue, a 12 year old girl from district 11 that Katniss formed an alliance with. But as I read I feel that I don't hate the Tributes, but the Capitol that hosts and forces them to play.

I really like The Hunger Games trilogy. But it has it's anti-Hunger Games like another thing. I don't mind that. But what really upsets me is that some people are calling it the next Twilight. Hello people. This has nothing to do with Twilight. In Hunger Games, Katniss can actually fight BETTER than some of the guys, where as in Twilight, Bella can only get protected by everyone around her. Twilight is more of the Romance side but Hunger Games is more towards action and adventure. It has some romance but not a lot.

Anyways, if your bored and looking for a good book to read. Hunger Games is the book for you! :)

Sorry for not blogging for like a week. I was lazy and I had "Blogger's Block". XD Anyway , I (finally) have a new post! Yay!

The 2nd week of school is already over! Isn't it fast how time flies? I mean really, I'm still in my holidays mood ok! Bleh. Waking up early to go to school is soooo not my thing. XD

Classes have been good so far. Though I missed 1 and a half days of school and my homework piled up. :( The form 4 shock. Ahaha, It's not so bad after you get used to it.

Sometimes I wish I was a kid again, where my biggest worry was :

Weather I ate my banana or not. XD

And my biggest betrayal was when :

Someone stole my Lollipop. >]

Wait.....I still think it's a huge crime to steal my or anyone's lollipop for that matter. :P

So, Chinese New Year is on it's way! How are you preparing for it? Well, for me, my mom already started baking cookies! Yum! The one thing I don't like about CNY is that I'll probably get super fat because of all the nice food and cookies. >.<

Ready for some CNY clothes shopping?! I am! Haha. I'm going to shop for clothes tomorrow. I really hope I find something nice. Speaking of clothes, I really want a walk in closet! :D

Isn't it nice. That way I can organize my clothes and shoes nicely. And I probably wont have to dig through all my clothes just to find something to wear. :)

I just went really off topic didn't I? Oh well, blogging is like that, you've got to be random. XD Oh well, I'm gonna go now cause I am currently watching Smiling Pasta with my sister. :)

School and Resolutions

Ok, I have to blog again for if I don't, I will not touch it until June. I'm serious. And so I am back with my 1st post of the year 2011. :)

Anyway, it's the start of form 4 and I must say, it is NOT a honeymoon year. Damn to those that said it was. =X It's only the 1st week of school and the teachers are already pressuring us about SPM. =.='' Come on lah, it's 2 years away. Including this year of course. XD

So yeah. I'm in Pure Science stream and my subjects are :

Bahasa Malaysia
English
Math
Moral
Sejarah
Add Math
Chemistry
Biology
Physics.

The 1st week of school was ok for me. I didn't have a lot of fun but it wasn't too bad.

And yes, what's a new year without New Years Resolutions? Sorry it's a little late but it's here now right?

I'm going to start with some resolutions. :)

1. Must NOT procrastinate!

I will do my homework and hand it in on time. I will also actually study instead of drawing candy, dinosaurs and unicorns in my book and let people assume I am studying.

Just like this little fellow up there. :) I am not sure if he understands what he is reading or not.

2. Do my best to make it into top 10 in my class the whole year!

3. Remember to study 1st and Play after. >.<

4. Must lose at least 5kg! Goal weight 50kg. Woots.

5. Be more active in school curriculum!

And yes, those are my 5 resolutions for this year. :D I don't have anything more to say so bye for now! :)

End of 2010.

Today is the 31st of December and as you all know, the last day of the year 2010. I hope that everyone enjoyed their last day of the year with all their loved ones. I bet that as I type this, many people are going to malls and stuff to say Goodbye to 2010 and Hello to 2011 with fireworks! :) This will be my last post of the year! :)
